Dope Girls Zine
“Getting high while getting shit done.”
Dope Girls Zine is a ‘highly’ impactful magazine for that woman who enjoys her morning joint and a cup of coffee before having to go and break the glass ceiling.
Not only does the magazine feature female voices; it features non-binary voices, embracing the experiences that women and non-binary individuals have with cannabis.
Only releasing two issues a year, Dope Girls Zine makes it part of their mission to constantly cover topics on their social media sites, such as progressive politics, feminism, self-care and body positivity with the added flare of cannabis!
Queer, polyamorous, non-binary, body-neutrality, advocate, and founder of the be.come project, Bethany C. Meyers is one of the few people who took over Dope Girl’s IG to interact with followers and just provide a positive space for all those curious about well… anything!
The activism doesn’t stop there. For each issue purchased, Dope Girls donates a portion to Planned Parenthood.
Broccoli Mag
“A magazine for cannabis lovers”
Broccoli magazine is that super cool hipster chick in the coffee shop who only drinks black, sustainable coffee from Guatemala and also has the perfect Instagram aesthetic where everything is in warm shades of mocha and copper.
THAT is Broccoli; offering an eclectic and refined collection of photography that challenges the status quo or mainstream culture of cannabis.
Well-informed, artsy, and diverse Broccoli uses all platforms to provide a creative conduit to discover cannabis! One look at their Instagram and you’ll be ready to subscribe for an entire year!
So, cancel that SkyMall subscription you bought on that $2.50 Spirit flight to Miami when you were bored and replace it with Broccoli!

Emerald Magazine
A low-key magazine based in California makes a big stride in cannabis culture by showcasing women farmers and putting them front and center! They also make sure to cover everything from growing and dispensaries to politics, policy, and more.
Emerald not only shows the social, political, economic, etc., importance of cannabis but it shows how important cannabis is as a plant.
Supporting local and organic farms/farmers; Emerald highlights one of the most important aspects of cannabis that is often forgotten (especially while money-hungry corporations join the market).
You can learn so many things about the anatomy of the plant while reading this magazine; however, you can also envy the woman on the front cover of the August 2019 issue and how CUTE those overalls are!
MJ Lifestyle Magazine
After a Sunday Brunch with your best girls; hit up your fav Barnes & Noble, grab a latte (sub almond milk) and pick up the latest issue of MJ Lifestyle Magazine.
Enjoy this uplifting, feminine magazine dedicated to taking down the patriarchy and burning bras (jk), while encouraging women to break down the stigma that surrounds cannabis.
If millennial pink is your most favorite color in the world but you’re also 100% that B**** who fights for social justice during her free time, then definitely check out MJ Lifestyle!
Flooding the cannabis industry with stories from intelligent, creative women based on their personal experience, social activists, mothers and everyone in between!
I am certain that one of these magazines will be your cup of tea; providing such a diverse selection that provides current and vital information that is necessary for women navigating cannabis culture! Representation matters when dissolving stigma and these zines came to represent every woman in cannabis!
Empowering women and breaking down stigma is what these magazines came to do and oooh girl; do they do it well!
