Chocolate-Rain Hemp Seed Cookie Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of butter

13.6 fluid oz. of water

1 cup of flour

1/4 cups of hemp seed flour

1/2 cup of raw cane sugar

2 egg yolks

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 

Zest of one lemon

1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips

Preparation:

*Take the butter, cut it into cubes


*Add the sugar and mix with the butter until you get a smooth cream


*Add the yolks, and stir quickly.


*Then add the flour, vanilla, grated lemon rind and chocolate chips


*Mix everything until you get a smooth paste


*Cover it with plastic wrap and place the dough in the refrigerator for about 40 minutes (or to speed up the operation, leave it in the freezer for 10 minutes).


*After the recommended time, take the dough again and with the help of a rolling pin, roll it out to reach a thickness of about half a centimeter.


*Then with a cookie cutter or with the help of a glass, cut it into cookie pieces.


*Knead the remaining leftover dough and roll out the layer of dough, repeating the operation until the entire mixture has been used.


*Once all the cookies are ready, cover the trays with baking paper and preheat the oven to 350 degrees, place the cookies on the lined pans and cook for about 13-15 minutes: the biscuits will be ready when you notice a slight browning on the surface.


*Once cooked, take them out of the oven and let them cool completely. Remember, the smaller the shape, the less time it will take to cook!
