A Friendsgiving CBD Sweet Potato Pie

Canna Sweet Potato Pie

Everyone knows that the best part of Thanksgiving is dessert! While you’d never bring a CBD-infused pie to Thanksgiving, it’s the perfect dessert for a Friendsgiving. Here is a sweet potato pie recipe like no other that your friends will be dying to try!

This recipe does not contain THC, but you can choose to bake this pie with THC, simply replace the CBD with the equivalent amount of cannabis ingredients. 

Here are the ingredients you’ll need:

  • 2 pre-made pie crusts
  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • ¾ cup of cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of minced fresh ginger
  • 3 tablespoons of SunSoil Coconut Oil = 87.50 milligrams per serving size. (You can also use a different cannabis coconut oil for this recipe.)

Directions

  1. Preheat: Preheat to 425 degrees to ensure the pies cook at the right temperature.
  1. Roll & Heat: Clean the potatoes. Next, take each potato and rub the SunSoil coconut oil all over. Finally, place parchment paper on top of a baking sheet, place the potatoes on top and heat them in the oven for 45 minutes. Once they are out of the oven, let them cool for at least 10-15 minutes. Preheat the oven again to 350 degrees. 
  2. Stir: Remove the skin from the potatoes, add all of the ingredients from the list and stir to a consistency that’s rich and creamy.
  3. Fill it in & Heat: Pour the filling mixture into the pie crusts. Be careful not to overfill the crusts so they won’t spill when baking. Place both pies in the oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
  4. Cool & Serve: Either let the pies cool for at least 20 minutes, or you can choose to stick them in the fridge overnight. Serve to your friends for an enjoyable Friendsgiving!
