This Is The First Cannabis “Beer” Brewery

We’re all here on Miss Marijuana because we enjoy the enhancing properties of cannabis in one way or another.

Many people use cannabis to relax and unwind, or even to focus and create. Maybe you like it as an oil under your tongue, or baked into a sweet brownie, or maybe you just like to roll it into a paper and smoke it like the old days.

There are many ways to reap the benefits of THC, but not all methods are created equal.

Just like there are different strains, there are different highs: and they all give a varying experience.

Some last longer, some are more potent. That diversity of encounters was the motivation the makers of New Frontier used to create their clear and fast-acting cannabis “beer.”

Times are changing, and it’s more popular than ever to enjoy cannabis openly and socially, especially in states where it is fully legal.

Puffing on a joint is becoming more acceptable in public and even at clubs and bars across certain cities.

Long gone are the days of hiding in your basement, blowing smoke through a crack in your window and hoping your neighbors have a weak sense of smell.

With pens, oils, and edibles, it’s become easy to get high just about anywhere: on your way to happy hour, on the train home, and in your non-smoking apartment.

But how about at a party in a glass?

New Frontier Brewery, the world’s first cannabis brewery, has added another level to the possibilities of welcoming cannabis to our everyday lives.

Using water-based technology, New Frontier transforms only the highest quality and pesticide-free THC into a crisp, cool can of non-alcoholic beer.

The essence of the cannabis is brought out by their unique brewing process, which retains every milligram of THC and CBD, making your high much quicker and clearer than other methods of consumption.

When baking edibles, the THC is broken down, and as we all know, the powerful high takes forever to kick in. This isn’t like that: you’ll feel it right away.

The best part of this beer is that it is alcohol-free, meaning you can get all the great effects of cannabis without any of the negative consequences of drinking alcohol.

For those of us who find ourselves at parties repeatedly refusing drinks because we’d rather spark up, this drink is the perfect solution.

The beer has a crisp, fresh taste and user Ashley Jaxon described the high as “light, fun, and sort of like a hybrid, sativa-dominant.”

New Frontier Brewing was founded on April 20 (aye), 2017 by a company that has long been pro-cannabis, before legalization efforts made marijuana a nationwide trend.

The beer is currently distributed by Sol Distro, a company specializing in the manufacturing and marketing of nontraditional cannabis products.

Other brands represented include Headlight Vape and Chill Chocolate.

The cans are simplistic, with a white, black, and red color scheme. “Cali’s Finest” is written in a scroll font at the bottom, followed by “non-alcoholic cannabis brew.”

Apart from those words, the design looks very much like a traditional beer. For now the beers are available at 20 authorized dispensaries across Southern California, from Long Beach to Palm Springs.

It may be some time before we see these pop-up at our local delis and liquor stores, but it will be sooner rather than later, especially for already legalized states.

Something to keep in mind: while enjoying cannabis in the form of a beer is both relaxing and refreshing, the THC is potent.

Meaning that even if you’re regularly a three or four beer person, New Frontier recommends users to sip slowly and responsibly.

Depending on your size and what you’ve had to eat, the high could begin to take effect as quickly as 30 seconds, or up to a few minutes.

Either way, it will get you nice and toasty, so you should plan to enjoy these at home or at least somewhere you won’t have to drive.

It’s an exciting time to be a cannabis smoker. The law is finally beginning to accept marijuana, and new growers and retailers are springing up all over the states.

New Frontier Brewery is just one of many innovative companies tapping into a transforming market.

The evolution of the way we reap the benefits of cannabis is amazing to see, and New Frontier will only add to the diversity of options.
