Canna Snowball Christmas Cookies

We have a special treat to help you spice up your holiday season! Canna Snowball Cookie Edibles!🍪 These melt-in-your-mouth treats take 20-30 minutes to make, even less if you have prepared canna-butter. Check our recipe below to help you elevate your holiday!

Prepare the Canna-butter

  1. Preheat oven to 245F.
  2. Coarsely grind the  cannabis. 
  3. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and add cannabis flower to the baking sheet. 
  4. Heat for 30 mins but toss the flower every 10 mins to ensure each part is dried. 
  5. Prepare a double boiler. If you do not have a double boiler, boil some water and add a metal bowl on top.
  6. In a separate pot, on medium-low heat, melt butter and skim off any white foam to clarify. Make sure not to brown. 
  7. Once the butter has melted, add butter and cannabis to a double boiler and simmer on low heat for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. Make sure it never comes to a full simmer. 
  8. Strain the butter in a jar and discard the cannabis. Do not try to squeeze out every drop of butter; it will give the butter a plant taste.

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter (regular & softened)

1/2 cup canna-butter softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup finely chopped nuts of your choice

1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400F
  2. Mix regular butter and canna-butter with 1/2 cup powdered sugar and the vanilla in a large bowl. Stir in flour, nuts, and salt until the dough holds together.
  3. Shape your dough into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. 
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, don’t let them brown!
  5. Let them cool down, roll them in powdered sugar while still warm, and repeat steps 1-4!
